Valium, A Common Household Term
Valium was one of the first anti-anxiety treatments to hit the market. Diazepam, the generic name for Valium, was first approved for use in 1960, and because it was 2.5 times more potent that the anti-anxiety treatment on the market before it, it immediately became an overnight success.   Archived in Valium
